Rapé Hapéh ceremonial snuff

What is Ceremonial Hapéh?

Hapéh (pronounced ha-peh ) is a sacred shamanic snuff used by Indigenous tribes of the Amazon for centuries. Made from finely ground tobacco (Nicotiana rustica) and a blend of medicinal plants, ashes, and other natural ingredients, hapéh is blown into the nostrils using a special applicator called a Tepi (administered by another person) or Kuripe (self-administered).

Traditionally, hapéh is used in ceremonial and healing practices to cleanse the mind, open spiritual awareness, connect with higher consciousness and to deeply ground into the earth. It is deeply respected as a sacred medicine and is often used before meditation, plant medicine ceremonies, or energetic healing work.
